Authentic Japanese Meals
In this cooking workshop, we are going to make a complete Japanese meal. What do Japanese eat at home? To answer this question, you are about to learn how to cook popular every-day meals from Japan. I will share easy, tasty and healthy authentic Japanese recipes, which you can make for your family! I will also introduce you to important Japanese “UMAMI” ingredients such as Dashi, Miso, Sake, Mirin and how to use them in your daily cooking. Sample menu: Teriyaki Chicken/Salmon, Miso Soup (making Dashi), Edamame salad. Sample menu (Vegetarian) : Ganmodoki (Tofu & veggie patty), Egg plant with Umami Miso, Wakame salad. We have more homemade Japanese dishes such as, Gyoza, Udon Noodle Soup, Tempura, Spring roll, Okonomiyaki, Stir-fry vegetable with shrimp, steamed buns, etc. *Please note, the menu changes according to the seasons, and fresh food availabilities. For groups, the menu of the workshop can be composed together with the participants. In addition, a fixed menu of workshops will be offered on selected dates. After we have made our Japanese dishes, we will taste our creations and have a relaxing time. I love to hear your workshop experience!
